The Volkswagen T-Roc was sold in India as a CBU during 2020–2021 with the 1.5 TSI EVO Active Cylinder Technology (ACT) engine paired to the DQ200 7-spd dry-clutch DSG. Suspension & Brakes
Suspension architecture: MacPherson strut front, multilink rear (CBU spec)
European-spec damping is firmer than India-built models; bushings hold up well but multilink rear bushings should be inspected at 90k km onwards.
Brakes: Front 312 mm vented disc, rear disc. Brake pads should be inspected at every service in Hyderabad traffic; genuine TRW / ATE / Brembo only.

Misfire under load — turned out to be intake-valve carbon. Walnut-blasted by MPS for ₹18,500. Smooth as new. Highly knowledgeable about the EVO engine.
Take-off judder. ODIS scan, mechatronic + clutch replacement with genuine LuK kit — ₹1.42L. 1-year warranty. Dealer would have charged ₹3.5L.
Loose multilink rear — MPS replaced bushings on both sides with genuine Lemforder kit for ₹68,000. Tail is rock-solid again. Excellent diagnosis and explanation.
