My VW / Skoda transmission jerks between gears — is the gearbox finished?
Almost never. In 9 out of 10 cases the cause is software (outdated TCM build), adaptation drift, contaminated fluid or a single sticky valve-body solenoid. We diagnose all four in a single visit before quoting any major repair.
How is your transmission diagnosis different from a regular workshop?
We run a structured ODIS / VCDS scan, log live data on a real test drive (not just at idle), check the fluid condition physically, and inspect the magnetic plug. Only then do we write the repair estimate. Most workshops just guess.
Do you handle TCM (Transmission Control Module) failure?

Can you fix a “Gearbox: Service Now” warning?
