Tata Indica Brake Drum Turning: Mixed Experience
I took my Tata Indica to Metre Per Second for a brake drum turning service as I was hearing a grinding noise while braking. They diagnosed the issue quickly, indicating that the brake drums were uneven and needed to be reshaped. While the initial estimate was around ₹3,000, the final bill came to ₹3,500, which was a bit higher than I expected. I was pleased with the workmanship, but unfortunately, I noticed the same grinding noise returned after a week. The staff were polite, but I did have to revisit them to address this issue. While they were friendly, the communication could have been clearer regarding the additional costs. Overall, it was an average experience, and I’m not sure if I would return again.
