₹6,000 Hatchbacks & sedans · ₹8,000 SUV / MUV / LUV / MPV · ₹15,000 Luxury cars · ₹8,000–₹12,000 BS6 DPF extra if required
Metre Per Second — Premium Car Service & Repair carries out manual carbon-cleaning and related intake-air-path services in Hyderabad. Carbon deposits can affect intake flow, idle quality or response, but those symptoms can also come from other faults; diagnosis should guide the repair rather than assuming every vehicle needs decarbonising.
The service scope can cover inlet-manifold cleaning, exhaust and hosepipe service, radiator cleaning, intercooler and pipe-kit service, air-mass and oxygen-sensor cleaning, EGR service, turbo checkup and throttle-body service. The technician confirms which operations apply to the vehicle's engine and condition before work is approved.
For BS6 vehicles, DPF work is not included in the manual carbon-cleaning package. If soot readings and inspection indicate DPF cleaning is needed, it is an additional ₹8,000–₹12,000 depending on soot value. Injector service and diesel-filter inspection are recommended checks for diesel vehicles and are separately discussed and quoted when needed.
Clean the inlet manifold and accessible intake passages as applicable to the engine design. The method is selected for the deposits, materials and access on the specific vehicle.
Inspect and service relevant exhaust and EGR components for carbon deposits, restriction, leaks or damage. Cleaning or replacement is recommended only after assessment.
Service applicable hosepipes and intercooler passages; inspect the intercooler-to-manifold complete pipe kit for restriction, leaks, loose connections or damage.
Clean the radiator as appropriate and check coolant condition. If the coolant is degraded or contaminated and needs replacement, we explain the requirement and quote it separately for approval.
Clean these components only where suitable for the sensor type and condition; inspect the throttle body and relevant air-path readings as part of the service.
Check the turbo and connected air pipes for visible concerns or symptoms related to the complaint. Carbon cleaning does not replace a separate turbo diagnosis or repair where a fault is found.
For diesel vehicles, we recommend checking injector condition and the diesel fuel filter alongside carbon-related work. Injector servicing or filter replacement is separate from the base carbon-cleaning price and is carried out only after discussion and approval.
For BS6 vehicles, assess DPF soot values first. DPF cleaning is an additional ₹8,000–₹12,000 depending on the recorded soot value and is not included in the base package.
The listed services are applied according to vehicle design and condition. We do not present DPF cleaning, sensor replacement, coolant replacement or injector work as automatically included in every car's base package.
Any extra work identified during inspection is explained and added to the estimate for approval before it is carried out.
For diesel vehicles, ask us to assess injector condition and the diesel filter. For BS6 vehicles, DPF cleaning is recommended only when soot values and inspection support it.
₹6,000 for hatchbacks and sedans; ₹8,000 for SUV, MUV, LUV and MPV; ₹15,000 for luxury cars. Confirm your vehicle's segment and final scope with the service team.
Deposits in the manifold or intake path can contribute to poor response, rough running or airflow concerns. A technician should confirm the cause before recommending cleaning.
EGR and exhaust deposits can affect operation, especially on some diesel applications. Fault codes and component condition help determine whether service is appropriate.
Poor injector spray or a restricted fuel filter can affect diesel combustion. These are separate checks and may need service alongside carbon work, but are not assumed to be faulty.
Use the fluids and service intervals specified for your vehicle and engine.
Have persistent warning lights, rough running, smoke or power loss diagnosed instead of assuming carbon cleaning alone will fix the issue.
For diesel cars, keep injector and fuel-filter condition in the service discussion when investigating smoke, poor pickup or uneven running.
A BS6 DPF is cleaned only when inspection and soot values justify it; this is a separate additional service.

Hatchbacks and sedans: ₹6,000. SUV, MUV, LUV and MPV: ₹8,000. Luxury cars: ₹15,000. For BS6 vehicles, DPF cleaning is extra at ₹8,000–₹12,000 if inspection shows it is required; the amount depends on soot value. The advisor confirms the vehicle category and itemised scope before work.
No. DPF cleaning is not included in the base manual carbon-cleaning price. For BS6 vehicles, we assess soot value and recommend DPF cleaning only when required. It is an additional ₹8,000–₹12,000 depending on soot value and is added to the estimate separately.
Yes. For diesel vehicles we recommend checking injector condition and the diesel fuel filter alongside carbon-related work. Injector service or filter replacement is not part of the base package; if inspection indicates either is needed, we explain it and seek approval before adding it to the estimate.
Radiator cleaning is part of the applicable carbon-cleaning scope. If the coolant is bad and replacement is required, the advisor will explain the finding and quote the coolant replacement separately for your approval.
No. Engines and equipment differ. The technician confirms which cleaning and checks are suitable for your vehicle and records the recommended scope before work. If an item does not apply or is not needed, it is not added as completed work.
We prepare an itemised estimate after inspection. DPF cleaning, coolant replacement, injector servicing, diesel-filter replacement or other extra work is listed separately. We proceed only after you approve the added work.
