I had my Hyundai Xcent's steering rack repaired recently and my feelings are a bit mixed. The steering was not returning properly and made a strange noise, so I swung by the workshop. They diagnosed the issue quickly and explained the necessary repairs, which was great. However, the turnaround time was longer than expected. They told me it would be ready in two days, but it ended up taking four. Additionally, I noticed that the final bill was about 20% higher than the initial estimate, costing me ₹15,000 instead of ₹12,500 as quoted. While the repair seems solid, the communication could have been better during those extra days. Considering this experience from Alwal, I'm on the fence about returning, but I might give them another shot if needed.
