Mixed feelings about Chevrolet UVA Handbrake Repair
I took my Chevrolet UVA to get the handbrake wire replaced because it was not functioning well — it would often slip back even when engaged. The team diagnosed it reasonably quickly, saying that the old wire had stretched over time. They quoted me ₹3,000 for the job, which seemed fair. However, I ended up paying around ₹3,600 in the end, about 20% more than expected. While the service was fine and they fixed the issue, I had to return a week later because the handbrake was still a bit loose. The second time around, they adjusted it without additional charge. Overall, the repair works now, but I’d have preferred clearer communication about the cost before I checked out. Not sure if I’d return again.
